THE PROVINCIAL HOTEL
Located only minutes from the heart of the city and taking pride of place at the junction of Brunswick and Johnston Streets, the Provincial Hotel is a true Fitzroy icon. This unique Melbourne establishment has an eclectic ambience and character that is reminiscent of the bars and cafes found in the streets of Europe. THE GEEBUNG POLO CLUB
Established in 1888, The Geebung Polo Club has long been regarded as one of Melbourne’s leading venues. Located over three levels it is characterised by its ornate Victorian décor, comfortable and spacious beer garden and private function rooms. The Geebung has recently undergone an extensive renovation and it now features 20 beers on tap and updated function facilities. This multi award winning venue has established a worthy reputation for the quality of its food and service and will easily satisfy the most discerning customer.
THE EXCHANGE HOTEL
Situated 100 metres from Port Melbourne beach on the corner of Bay and Rouse Street and built in the mid 1850’s, the Exchange Hotel is one of the areas oldest. Fully renovated in 2006 the Exchange has left behind its old namesake, ‘Molly Blooms’ and established itself as an award winning gastro pub south of the city. JAMES SQUIRE BREWHOUSE @ THE PORTLAND HOTEL
One of Melbourne's most historic hotels The Portland Hotel, incorporating the James Squire Brewhouse and Portland Lane Café, offers a unique hospitality experience. The Portland Lane Cafe offers modern casual dining in a relaxed and informal atmosphere. The James Squire Brewhouse showcases handcrafted ales brewed both on site and at the Malt Shovel Brewery (Australasian Brewery of the Year 2000/2003).
COLLEGE LAWN HOTEL
Built in the late 1800's, the College Lawn boasts a wonderful down to earth local vibe. Featuring a lounge bar, restaurant, public bar, bottle shop, two sun drenched courtyards and backpacker style accommodation, the College Lawn has something for everyone. The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner Monday to Friday and all day over the weekend. Excellent daily specials are on offer including Monday locals’ night and Tuesday steak nights. A wide range of functions can also be easily catered for. Sport lovers are well looked after at the College Lawn and it is 'the' only pub in Melbourne to watch the rugby union.
THE MENTONE HOTEL
The Mentone Hotel situated on the waters edge of Port Phillip is one of the Bay’s great historical landmarks. With a focus on fresh produce prepared daily on the premises the venues bistro has a reputation as a great place to dine with friends or family. The hotel also features live entertainment, function rooms and a well stocked drive through bottle shop. PERSEVERANCE
A Fitzroy institution, the Perseverance Hotel has been trading as a licensed venue for over 100 years. Whilst the pub might be one of the oldest in the area, it is by no means a relic of the past – popular with patrons for dinner and drinks in the early evening. On Friday and Saturday nights, the Perseverance’s biggest nights, the venue transforms itself into a hot local night spot with resident DJ’s and live entertainment to turn up the party atmosphere.
IMPERIAL HOTEL - SOUTH YARRA
Located in the heart of Melbourne’s fashionable Chapel Street in South Yarra, the Imperial is the perfect pit-stop for Melbourne’s’ fashionista’s and people watchers alike to relax and unwind in the cocktail lounge in the afternoon or glitz it up after dark with resident DJ’s entertaining until the early hours. THE TERRACE BAR & BRASSERIE
The Terrace Bar & Brasserie is Sydney International Airports only landside bar and brasserie with a fantastic indoor and outdoor area both of which merge to create an open, airy space. The contemporary style bar offers a modern Australian menu, using only quality ingredients sourced locally with an extensive breakfast menu and dedicated coffee station. With 12 beers on tap and a large selection of wines by the glass, there's a thirst quencher for everyone.
TAP HOUSE
The Tap House at Terminal 2, at Sydney Domestic Airport is ideally located at the gateway to a number of domestic and regional airlines. The Tap House has set a new benchmark for airport venues, serving the only tap beer in Terminal Two, with a range of 12 local and imported beers on draught to choose from, in addition to a huge selection of bottled beer, cocktails and spirits. The Tap House also offers an extensive wine list with an emphasis on showcasing Australian varieties, with 16 wines available by the glass. A notable feature of the Tap House is the Wine Store, which stocks a great range of bottled wine, scotch, cognac and other spirits for visitors to take away.
