About

About Us

The Open Door Pub Company (ODPC) was established in July 2004 with the acquisition of 24 hotels from Lion Nathan Hotel Investments (LNHI).

Over the past three years the company has disposed of several hotels in the original portfolio, purchased 3 additional properties and renovated several others.

Our primary objective is to be a leader in the hospitality industry through the achievement of business excellence in the supply of food and beverage and other related activities.

With our Head Office located on Burwood Road in Hawthorn, ODPC is one of the largest non-gaming pub companies in Victoria, operating a diverse range of venues including pubs, bars and cafes.

Within the group are several iconic Melbourne venues including the Provincial Hotel, Fitzroy, the College Lawn, Prahran, the Geebung Polo Club, Hawthorn and the James Squire Brewhouse on Russell Street in the CBD. Each of these venues is historically significant and all are regarded as leading venues in Melbourne.

Our Victorian venues are predominantly located across the Melbourne metropolitan area including the CBD and inner suburban areas. In late 2006 and early 2007 we successfully opened 2 outlets at the redeveloped Domestic Terminal 2 at Sydney Airport.
